EDUCATION

Education is the foundation for building knowledge through all curricular and extracurricular activities. It provides the theoretical and practical grounding students need to actively and competently participate in society. UniEnsino’s educational policy includes Free Courses, Technical Programs, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Degrees.

EXTENSION

Extension involves developing programs that expand society’s access to knowledge, meeting community needs and fostering a transformative relationship between UniEnsino and the community. Course coordinators develop projects or receive proposals from faculty members, which are discussed and approved by academic boards according to the institution’s conditions and resources.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

Scientific research is encouraged in every UniEnsino program through final projects (TCC), integrative projects, academic research, and community engagement, often in partnership with public and private institutions. This is further strengthened by organizing scientific events and participation in conferences and seminars. UniEnsino also fosters a scientific mindset through the publication of its own Scientific Journal (ISSN 1980-3125), first released in 2003. This journal not only shares the work of faculty and students but also stimulates scientific literacy and reflection on social realities. Both internal and external communities are invited to contribute and access diverse academic research developed within the institution.

REGIONAL ENGAGEMENT

UniEnsino values and promotes freedom of expression among both faculty and students, encouraging active participation in the teaching-learning process and in various forms of student representation.

The institution prioritizes critical thinking and dialogue as essential tools for fostering autonomy, creativity, and initiative. This commitment positions UniEnsino as an institution dedicated to transforming Brazilian society while supporting human growth, development, and continuous improvement.

Over the years, UniEnsino has demonstrated its commitment to advancing knowledge, critical thinking, and reflection. The institution does not limit itself to merely reproducing and disseminating knowledge but encourages thoughtful analysis and innovation. Although a private institution, UniEnsino’s practices are guided by principles of freedom, autonomy, critical thinking, dialogue, participation, reflection, and creativity, which shape its educational identity. These values are embodied in its commitment to ethics, integration, and quality.

COLLEGIAL AND DEMOCRATIC MANAGEMENT

As outlined in its bylaws, UniEnsino’s top-level administration is carried out by collegial bodies such as the Superior Council for Teaching, Research, and Extension (Consepe), Course Committees, Teaching Structuring Core (NDE) for each program, and the Self-Assessment Committee (CPA). These bodies reflect the active participation of the academic community in UniEnsino’s governance.

These consultative and deliberative bodies are responsible for supervising and guiding institutional activities in accordance with the bylaws, ensuring proper organization and administration aligned with UniEnsino’s goals and mission.

OBJECTIVES

In alignment with its institutional mission and vision, UniEnsino’s primary objective is to deliver high-quality on-campus and distance learning programs that are closely linked to the productive sectors while fully complying with higher education regulations.
